Coast and Country Dog Walkers is run by animal lovers for loved pets. We offer professional dog walking and dog grooming services. With nine dogs, five horses and a range of other pets, you can be sure that we have the experience and knowledge to confidently care for your treasured pets.

Coast and Country Dog Walkers provide services for dog walking in Morecambe, Heysham, Lancaster and surrounding areas. If you’re looking for a professional, reliable and caring Lancaster dog walker to give your canine friend a good walk while you’re at work or out of town, you’ve come to the right place.

We always aim to give dogs walked with us a proper adventure. We walk on beaches, coast paths, along the canal and through woodland. We aim to give the dogs plenty of variety and interesting things to see and do!

We also have two private dog activity fields full of fun equipment designed specifically for dogs – ideal for dogs with poor recall!

We are insured with Pet Business Insurance UK to walk six dogs at a time in public and eight dogs at a time on our own private land to ensure each dog gets the necessary attention and supervision.

We are Disclosure Scotland checked (formerly known as CRB checked) – certificate available to view showing no criminal convictions – to give our customers peace of mind.

We are qualified in Pet First Aid and have completed a course in Aspects of Canine Behaviour at Myerscough College.

We will always collect your dog in an unmarked vehicle to avoid drawing attention to the fact that your house may be empty.

Group Dog Walking Times (Walks of One Hour Duration)

Weekdays

We normally do two group walks – these being a late morning walk and a mid-afternoon walk. Exact timings depend on our collection routes for the day and the locations of our walks.

Occasionally we will need to add a third group walk in which case we will do mid-morning, lunchtime and mid-afternoon walks.

Weekends

Weekend walks are available (times will vary).
